VIENNA CALLING: "WE SHOULD JUST...LET HIM DIE? YEAH..." - WHEN DOES THE GREED STOP?... On personal responsibility as deliberately manufactured deceit

I was getting data to back up my research on the issues of taxes & deficit, when I came across this unbelievable video that make such a clear difference between the two major political parties in the USA...
Facing the greatest economic crisis the world has ever seen: taxes are just the tip of the iceberg that drives the Republicans and the Conservatives from all over the World into a race to the bottom of their National Economies, cause it seems they don't care if they are onboard of Titanic as long as they know they have a reserve spot on the life boats ...
If we want to understand their relentless pursuit of tax cuts and the ballooning deficit as a result of them, we need to look behind the curtain of their public appearance, and go deep in the schools of thought that is the backbone of their beliefs!
Without understanding where their beliefs come from, we will never get a real solution, but another temporary band aid on the wound called crises, ready to be peeled off as soon as the temperature goes down, as soon as we appear to be out of the crises!
- Where is the source that brings so many ordinary people to the doorsteps of a Party that stands for such easily disputable data,?
- Where do their party talking points come from?
- How do they lure so many ordinary, and especially young people to follow them into oblivion like all the true believers do: blind!
The answer came on the National TV and left the Country breathless and shocked:
It was one of those surreal moments when the moderator in the Republican debate asked the presidential hopeful Ron Paul the following question:
- A healthy 30 year old young man, has a good job, makes a good living, but decides, U know what: “I’m not going to spend 2-300$ on Health insurance a month, cause I’m healthy, I don’t need it!” but something terrible happens, and he all of a sudden needs it, who’s going to pay for it if he goes into a coma for example, who’s going to pay for that?
Like a good politician which Ron Paul is, even virtually playing underdog, he starts the answer with a dog whistle:
- In a Society where You accept Welfare-ism and Socialism, he expects the Government to pay for that!
Pressed by the moderator the good doctor continues the libertarian creed:
- He should do what ever he want to do and assume responsibility for himself! My advice to him is to have a major medical policy…
…but he does not have it!- the moderator remind Ron Paul, that the man need a services and he DOES not have medical insurance, no one will insure him under the present condition, and he will make the bill that probably he will not be able to pay living and working and saving for the rest of his life to paid it off!
Now what was the answer that the Good Doctor gave?
What was the Libertarian solution?
What is the solution that the majority of the Libertarians and so called Tea Party people like to hear and subscribe hypothetically to it?
- That is what freedom is all about: taking your own risk…this whole idea that You have to care of everybody…
- Congressmen are You saying that Society should just…let him die?

- No…said Ron Paul, measuring the awful predicament of his views, but the honest answer came deep from the crowd…

- Yeah… came the cry out…and the loud applause from the audience…

The Country was shocked…
Now, to set the record clear, Ron Paul did give a plausible future explanation that throws the Church into the mix, and Market, and Inflation, and medical license and all kinds of band aid to smudge the awful reality of his Libertarian view that have roots in Austrian School of Economics and those are:

"Any sort of Government intervention, as is Welfare, Medicare, Social Security, Unemployment, Minimum Wage, especially Government Stimulus spending is an abomination of the Free Market Economy they believe in… Any regulation is a restriction on the Market and needs to be removed!

What they are not saying in their Internet classes at Mises Institute, or their younger counterpart known as the Friedman Chicago school of Economics, more famous like "trickle down Reaganomics", is that PEOPLE USED TO DIE, when those crises hit, most of them being children or elderly!
If the crises come during the winter it was devastating the population of the big cities...

"During the early 1600s in England the life expectancy was only about 35 years, largely because two-thirds of all children died before the age of four. The average life expectancy in Colonial America was under 25 years in the Virginia colony, and in New England about 40% of children failed to reach adulthood.
Public Health measures are credited with much of the recent increase in life expectancy. During the 20th century, the average lifespan in the United States increased by more than 30 years, of which 25 years can be attributed to advances in public health.*
* From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia term: crises and life expectancy.

For a Political Party that claims sole ownership of the Faith, and reliance to the Church, they give so much credit to the survival of the fittest, cause that what was left behind in the sea of poverty when the tide of naked unfettered Free Market Economy crises hit all of Humanity, once a decade, for the last 230 years…
Those of You who will like to have a closer look at the life of the people during the unfettered market economy, during the time when “The Church” was taking care of the seek, and those who were lay off in a cyclical business turn around, You can take a trip to any public library and indulge in the story from France: “Les Miserable” by Victor Hugo, England: “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens, or much closer to home, America “Iron Heel” by Jack London…
And yet, day in and day out we hear those paid pundits on the radio, on the TV, keep peddling the notorious manufactured deceit:

“MARKET will fix everything, will balance all inequality, IF we only give him a chance“…word of interest is: “IF”, -like we never did give him a chance before…

Mildly put, the whole concept that we need to give a chance to a Free Market Economy is a fairytale, we DO LIVE in Free Market Economy, it is also called CAPITALISM and the restoration of his lost freedom is a joke, and if not so, then a tragic and deliberate misinterpretation!

-The Virus infected Skynet?-asks the dying official...
-No Skynet is the virus!- came the correct answer...

Why is it that the GOP has to find a way to mislead the masses?
The Answer is very simple: because America is a Democracy, people are free to vote and elect their representatives and form a Government of their Peers that is of the people, by the people, and for the people…at least that’s what the Constitution says…
Having that misfortunate starting point in the Constitution, the GOP has constantly reinvented its ways to divide, distort, and keep majority of the people under deliberate deceit cause de facto, democracy came from a Greek word "demos", means people, and "cratis", means rule,! In a true Democracy "people are the Ruler", means that the will of the majority of the people need to be respected and live by it, and that simple idea is a no, no, no in the book called Special Interest of the minority of the people who are de facto benefactors of the system!
I find the phenomena so amusing!

Let me point this another way:

-How did the Wealthy solve the problem and mislead the masses?
Election after election they reinvent the wheel, they rejuvenate old passions, a mix of race, religion, dash of patriotism, pinch of sexual orientation, gender, and when they run out of ideas:-They invent new names instead of the old discredit ones…
So the system they adore, the system that is so unstable, that favors and cherishes only few, and leaves so many in the gutter of poverty, the system that throw masses of people on the streets of unemployment, stress of foreclosure, massive national suffering, the system that places everything on sale, including the sphere of moral tangible things: like Liberty, Freedom, Constitution, personal integrity, personal responsibility, Society, and on and on…

THAT SYSTEM it is not called Capitalism anymore, it is Free Market Economy!

Sounds so much better doesn't it?...All the terrible stories of the 18 and 19 Century are like wipe out clean, and we are all free to pursuit happiness if we only take personal responsibility for our own action...
It is a smokescreen to lure the vast majority of the population into an election of candidate that will serve the Corporate Interest and once in Washington DC, the name Republican or Democrat it is only a political Umbrella that means nothing but an empty rhetoric, cause Politicians are on sale in Capitalism just like any other good or service, just like any other tangible thing in the system, and to be surprised by that fact is more then

being naïve.

- Oh, don’t get me wrong…they've done that for decades, but why it is so important today?

- Cause the system has a Global Crises of which there no exit in site...

This crises is affecting every country in the world, it changes the life of every living creature on this Planet, and the outcome will reflect the future Generation in an unprecedented ways and in a time frame that no one can predict the length of! The whole of Capitalism is in Crises, and every Nation in the World is looking for a solution, some more, some less successful, some try out different politics fast or slow, but the Government of every civilized Country is working toward the exit strategies of this crises!
The sad part is that America and Europe want to transfer the cost of the crises on the shoulders of the working people, and that is wrong!

- In Europe this transfer of the cost of the crises is called “Austerity measure”!

- In America the same transfer of the cost of the crises is called Cuts in “Government spending“!

All Common Wealth that People accomplish to gain during the last Century, all is set to be not just slash but repeal all together!
Mastering their divide and conquer politics they went to far, manipulating part of its own constituency... The so called Tea Party people…

We witness rise of the Tea Party, the poorest republicans, libertarian and independent leaning republican voters who don’t really understand what the hell happen in the last couple of years, but sure they are angry as Mans can be, and they focus their anger to Government…

The ingenuity of American Capitalism…

None of the angry Tea Party people are angry at people who actually fired them, foreclosed upon them, or turned them into a modern slave under enormous burden of debt and bills they are not able to pay anymore, even they work harder and longer than ever if they still have jobs…
Never the less, their prospects are grim…
Day after day, they are closer to the door that will open the land of poverty to them, so they are angry, and tired and they have nowhere to turn but the glorious past they remember reading about: 1776...
The revolution, the new beginning, the prosperity…
All they need is a King to rebel against, and all the costumes they dress up, and the past will be the present, the rest will be midnight story in a child book someday…The GOP misguide them so long and so successfully that they hate The Government, The FEDS, the fraudulent Bankers and The Greedy Wall Street, and the Crooked Politicians, and if they can only replace them with...with...

-With WHAT...another set, new, uncorrupted one, small businesses, farms, and we can start all over again!
Just like in 1776...
Yes, it is sad…but it is nothing new in History…the call for the past to be restored came some time ago: Tea Party is just the latest reactionary* attempt to tell loud and clear that the people don’t like the present set of the state affairs…That’s all the Tea Party is!

*The term reactionary refers to viewpoints that seek to return to a previous state! Reactionary derives from the French word réactionnaire.
In this French usage reactionary denotes "a movement towards the reversal of an existing tendency or state" and a "return to a previous condition of affairs."
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, under the term: Reactionary*

Having that in mind, our Tea Party apart of looking historical with all their costumes and the bags of tea hanging on their hats, we must say that they are quite entertaining most of the time…
Their concerns are serious even their anger is misplaced!
The deficit is real concern, and need to be address, the debt ceiling is a concern and need to be address but being misguided by the Party of the Wealthy they work toward the fulfillment of the very reason that cause the deviation of the Path of Prosperity America was leading for many decades in the whole world!
Our Government cage is empty for a long time…we are running heavy on red last thirty years…
Its nothing new…
Since Reagan, GOP discover that getting tax cuts for everyone is politically plausible, not to forget as well highly profitable, so they deliver tax cuts after tax cuts to their Wealthy Masters, while Democrats did not want to be a party poppers and went along closing their eyes to the troublesome reality, that more and more of the revenue fall on the shoulders of the middle class…
From the video we see how bad it is, how the burden is set more and more on the shoulder of the middle class...
The Wealthy and their spokesperson Republican Party, find the way to pass the Bills to us, working people, and not just lowering their tax rate, but also with including more and more people that will pay the price to run our Society! Wealthy People do like the Public goodies that the taxpayers dollars provide, they just don’t want to pay for them, that’s all…
But that’s a story of another time!

  1. Hi there!

It is capitalism at its best/worst. Modern day slavery consists of a population considering themselves "lucky" and "grateful" to have 2 or 3 minimum wage jobs to make ends meet.

The poor, angry and screwed over tea baggers and "patriots" fail to make the connection between the government being the people and hating the government is self-directed hatred, but they don't understand that. The government is an ideological entity and corporations are the stupid dream they were sold about "working hard and you'll be here one day".

It has never happened and if they ever hit the lotto, they would never, ever... be in the same social circles as the Koch bros et al.

Re: the "let him die" scenario, these people subscribe to ideology that knows no physical or emotional pain. If the people had been asked "if your 24 yr old son was in this situation... would you let him die? or move heaven and earth to ensure his survival?" - I suspect that once conversations are framed in a personal way, ideology goes out the window.

Thank you for sharing. Sorry I went so long (again!) :-)

  2. Yes, Grayson lost his seat because he dared to tell the truth about our Healthcare in this country. It's a damn shame that people don't realize, he's on their side. He is wealthy, but he cares about us. When will people learn, when it's too late, oh wait, it is too late.

So, this little pretend 30-yo took his chances, didn't pay for insurance, and now expects to reap the rewards of an expensive procedure?

    His pretend problem, not mine.

If he were a thinking man, and prepared in advance for some eventual adverse health happenstances, then the problem he had wouldn't be a problem. And, if he's a Democrat, he certainly can't turn to God, can he?

Democrats are the party of atheism; it's virtually a Party plank. Most of the 'Professional Left' speak ill of God Botherers; describe people of faith as having "Voodoo religion ... stone age views ... religious fanatics...". There's nothing of God in their heads, so they substitute giant self-egos to fill the void. Their own personal God-head.

Given that, that Darwin fellow sure is a pest, isn't he?

"Only the strong will survive to reproduce and carry on the species."

I guess that 30-yo is just weak, huh? Being 'just another animal', he's toast, right?

    Right?

I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply...
Part of it is I was busy, part I did not wonted to run my reply with emotions till they settle down...
Now they are settle down, so here it is:
In two letters, OK, but lets begin!
You do believe Democrats ate the atheist and they have nothing of God in their heads but ego...but You also mention some of their opinionated views about the people of Faith on your side...I mean Republicans, or any branch of them: Conservative, Libertarian or Tea Party newest addition...
Well I think all of You are wrong...
    Here is why!
Anyone personal religious believe should be their sole freedom of religious choice, its not mine, yours or anyone business to undermine any personal Faith beliefs on accounts of other personal Faith Beliefs, when its about State Affairs or National Interest!
When I say State, I mean USA!
The Founding Fathers were wise enough to pinpoint that important premise of Governing like a right in the constitution, cause they knew history of blood shed cause of tense religious differences and the damage it cause to National Economies...
The sole purpose of GOP using and abusing the Faith is precisely cause those differences are so deeply rooted and unbridgeable in time that they know that if they steer the pot well enough they will accomplish any goal they set them self to accomplish regardless of people economic interest in a name of their beliefs!
And they do that...all the time...
When does life start? At conception or letter with the baby heartbeat?
Are You sure You know that?
The Christian Church Fathers, both Catholic or Orthodox and all the Church splits in between, wasn't so sure about that issue till recently!
I have Faith in God, and I dont question his ways...

    Next...
There is a perceived fallacy that there is two separate and different school of thought like they fight their economic ideas while people suffer: Austrian/Chicago school, vs Keynesian school...
Its a game of a good cop, and bad coop they play with Us the people.
    The real issue is crises.
Austrian School of economics ( Milton Friedman is no less Austrian even he is founder of a new school known as Chicago trickle down economics then he is pupil of Mises ) stand for Free Market Economy, while Keynesians are for Free Market Economy...Yeah...no differences!
    Till the crises hit!
Free Market Economy is Capitalism...pure and simple! He go into crises every decade like clockwise. for sure, and when he does, Austrian say: let it be...does not matter who will suffer, the system will bounce back, while Keynesian say: we cant take a risk of Public pain turning into a populist movement cause the stakes are too high! People may awaken to a new idea and overturn the whole system into something that is called Socialism!
    Now that is not acceptable...period!
So the Keynesian step in, sooner or letter, as we see in our recent history...During Bush last year in office people were loosing their jobs, left and right, they never even make a news on Sunday Media talk shows!
Then the New administration came, and what they did...what is the Keynesian approach?
-We will band aid the pain so the population will not be aware that they are no more then a frog in a boiling water!
They start a series of Public interventions known as "The Stimulus" and Investment in Infrastructure...
The Keynesian way: let the Government borrow from Us, the wealthy, in order to hire a part of the populations while the rest who are outside of the sphere of intervention will wait for their turn of a good luck...
The deeper the crises, the longer the slow recovery, but the result is the same, the Capitalism will bounce back, the "weakling" will be cleaned naked, and we will be off for a new business cycle!
We prevent the system from any populist movement, so now we can go back to its base principles: free market...
As soon as the system come out of the crises, the sole goal of the Political Party is to reverse, or repeal all the restriction and regulations erect under the promise..."so the greedy will be under control and they will not wreck the economy as they did last time"...
We see that since the Great Depression with all the Laws and restriction that were bring forward "The New Deal" and today "Obama-Care, "Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act" and any other bills Congress pass since the Keynesian took the "Recovery process" to fix the mess Austrian left behind...
A good and a bad cop...while we the people end with a same jail sentence called: unemployment, foreclosures, small business failure...
    You know...the usual...
